At the invitation of Southeast University Joint International Research Laboratory of Information Display and Visualization，Professor Iftikhar Ahmad, President of the University of Science and Technology in Abbottabad, Pakistan, visited the Joint International Research Laboratory of Information Display and Visualization from 7 to 11 November 2018. Abbottabad University of Science and Technology, located in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, hopes to develop cooperation with Chinese research universities under the background of "Belt and Road" international cooperation. During this visiting, Abbottabad University of Science and Technology and our laboratory reached the intention of co-hosting the 2019 ICEED International Conference and organizing bilateral academic seminars in 2019 and 2020. The two sides also reached an agreement on exchange of visits, cooperative scientific research and technical achievements transformation.
During the visit, as a special guest, President Iftikhar Ahmad attended the special exchange meeting of "Belt and Road" innovation cooperation and technology transfer in Jiangsu Province, and introduced the promotion of "Belt and Road" national science and technology cooperation and technology transfer together with Southeast University.
