March 22, Dongfei Center 44th Board of Directors held in Shanghai Philips Research Institute. Board members from Philips and Southeast University attended the meeting. Professor Wang Baoping, Executive Vice President of Southeast University and Chairman of the Board of Directors, presided over the meeting. Professor Tu Yan, general manager of Dongfei Center, reported on the progress of the project, research results and financial accounts, and approved the new project plan after examination and approval by the board of directors. At present Dongfei Center undertakes 3 lighting quality-related projects and 2 intelligent city-related topics.


Sun Yueming, executive vice president of the Academy of Scientific Research, Southeast University, and Ye Zhirui, executive director of the International Cooperation Office, Dr. Kees vd Klauw, Vice President, Philips Research Institute, Netherlands; Dr., Maurice Donners, Senior Scientist, Dr. Kees Teunissen, Senior Scientist; Dr. Zhu Xiaoyan, Director researcher, Philips Asia Research Institute; Dr. Wang Changjie and Dr. Zhao Qin, Director, Research Institute, Philips Asia Research Institute, also attended the board of directors. The director of the East Flight Center also attended the meeting.



Dongfei Center of Southeast University has been cooperating with Philips since 1994the board of directors has held 44 sessions. All aspects, including display component research with Philips components, visual perception with Philips Research Institute, and applied technology research with Philips Consumer Electronics and Philips Fashion Life, Or with Philips Lighting to do lighting quality and smart city research, we have had a great success.
